Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre is extremely popular among spectators. A considerable number of opera and ballet soloists are widely known in Russia and beyond. Many of the productions staged by this theater received national awards and their performances were recognized and acclaimed in many countries of Europe, Asia and America. Today the theater is performing in the historical building in downtown Moscow; its interior design is considered as one of the most beautiful in the capital.

Moscow

Moscow is the capital city of the Russian Federation. The population of this megalopolis exceeds 10 million. The first reference to Moscow dates from 1147. Its founder is traditionally considered to be Vladimir-Suzdal Grand Prince Yury Dolgoruky. Moscow is renowned for its cultural heritage.
