The world’s largest multidisciplinary collection that covers the concept of “musical culture’. It has the status of a particularly valuable object of cultural heritage of the Russian Federation.There are nearly one million items in the museum funds in total – unique musical instruments, autographs, prominent musicians’ memorabilia, musical and literary manuscripts. Venues of the consortium host permanent and temporary exhibitions, excursions, performances, season subscription activities and interactive master classes.
